landing gear actuator not functioning efficiency

Recommended Posts

had carpel tunnel surgery this morning, hoping the landing gear actuator will be functioning enough to fly to Osh on sunday. I will be bringing backup just incase.

Manual or electric?

Manual :)

I see. Well, when I bought my E the PO told me that he was selling because he could no longer get the Johnson up  because of rotator cuff issues.

In fact, when we flew her the first time (I was right seat) I had to operate the gear--so that was my first time every doing it.

So, take along a co-pilot with a strong left-arm.

If you are adept at the MNM (Mooney Nod Maneuver), you may be able to get by with the bandage.

I have the same concern. If I ever need carpel tunnel surgery on my thumb, I'm in trouble!

...and this (thread topic) is the only advantage we are going to allow you for having electric gear.

...and don't make me bring up "the spring".
