Ram air in cloud and/or rain?

For the 1/2" or less of MP gained when the used it in my 81 J I took it out, fiberglass the hole and repainted...not more worries.

For those with Js, at what altitude did you try it? I thought ram air was for high altitude cruise, ie >10k

I don't know about air filters. My 201 makes 30 in all the way up to FL210
