Good shops near Raleigh?

So, as a military guy, I had to move again. Second time just this year. But, it looks like I'll be at Fort Bragg, south of Raleigh, for a while. Does anyone know of any good shops in the Fayetteville or Raleigh area?

I was based at Fuquay Anger for 27 years before moving to Beaufort.  I see you are at Harnett county.  I have used Ken Tanner at HRJ years ago.  He used to be shop manager for a MSC.  Have trained another mechanic at Beaufort so I have not used Ken for 7 years.  Ken is honest.

Virginia aviation in Lynchburg va may be closest MSC about 90 NM from KRDU...

Cole in Dalton GA would be about as close as Lynchburg... but there's a flying club based at RDU that has at least one Mooney and midlifeflyer can probably advise on what they do for maintenance.

My favorite is Ted Pettee AP/IA out of KSIF (Shiloh just north of Greensboro). Honest work. Knows Mooneys. Was at Causey until recently.

Wasn't Causey a MSC @ Asheboro many years ago? Or was that someone else?

Don Berry at Total Flight Solutions KLHZ. Their are 7 Mooneys on the field that he maintains and others fly into see him.

My flying club is based at Sanford and we have three M20Js. We do our maintenance in house but I can certainly ask our mechanics about outside work our a local if you want. PM me if interested.
