First trip....

i thought i would share some pics from our first Mooney adventure.  A short hop to see the normandy landing beaches.  The vendors dad landed on Gold beach so we went for a quick look see....

An elderly gentleman in my church was one of the guys that stormed the beaches in the war. It's pretty amazing to see the pictures and the shelling damage.

Great pictures!, Thanks for posting.  I would love to see Normandy beach. I'm sure it's very moving for a lot of people to see, kind of like seeing Pearl Harbor in Hawaii.  I hope you didn't have full fuel when you took those pictures!  I can't take 3 people in my plane unless they are pretty light, or I'm fueled to the tabs.    I only have 916 useful load.

i should get my baby back tomorrow with all her new toys.  will post some pics when she gets back for your critical appraisal of the panel work I had done.   Will be starting the IR course in just a couple of weeks so hopefully soon be able to take full advantage of all the new toys in the typical UK weather!!
