I really want to join the 300 club in my bravo. Had 285 at 13000 with great tailwind. Too tired to go it to fl's that day. Wish I would have may never have the chance again. Also was at only 65 percent to save fuel. Still would have been shy of 300. We should star 200. 250 and 300 clubs for the various types we have. Passing barons is great.

Me too!  I've got close, like about 5kts short, but no cigar yet!

My best panel shot shows level flight and 183 knots ground speed in my C.

As others have said, without pictures it didn't happen. There is an old thread a couple of years back where we did this, but it was confusing having the fire-breathing turbos mixed in with Fs, Js and Cs.

You mean this one.  How someone managed to get 421knots is beyond me, still, I can dream!

Most variants are accommodated - can you improve on them?  http://www.groundspeedrecords.com/index.php?option=com_content&view=category&layout=blog&id=83&Itemid=1219

Well guys, I flew home this afternoon behind a cold front. The flight was actually pretty nice, above a scattered layer at 6000' and very smooth. Sunshine in the windows took the chill away from the -4°C outside temp. BUT, BUT, BUT I had a steady 45kt. HEADWIND the entire trip.

I was seeing a solid 123 kts. ground speed. At one point the headwind made it to 51 kts. and the ground speed was down in the 117 kts range.

265 kts returning from Las Vegas back to Texas at FL210 in a Rocket two weeks ago. ( I checked flightaware.com ).

Then I had to divert to KAQO to wait, then KAUS to land because weather was 200 and 1 1/4 at my home (KEDC).

Shooting the KAUS ILS to minimums was one thing, but ATC asking me to fly at 130 down the ILS for spacing kept it interesting. (Autopilot flew).

Actual ceiling turned out to be about 300 and plenty of runway to slow down. I had to go pickup the airplane the next day.

It was actually a lot of fun... :)

that same trip that I was doing 212 Knots had me doing 109-128 knots on the way back.  I returned at night, but the winds were still pretty strong from 8000 down to 4000.  1:57 to get there, 3:15 to get back.

Some nice numbers with a bit of help from the winds. Heading from Windsor Ontario to Kitchener Ontario.
