320KPH Posted December 9, 2013 Report Posted December 9, 2013 thanks for posting, makes it simple! (NOT!) Quote
jojogunn Posted December 16, 2013 Report Posted December 16, 2013 I love the part about "if something does go wrong the crash crew is always standing by". Trust me that was more propoganda than a safety brief. But there is nothing like bagging day traps. Quote
Hank Posted December 17, 2013 Report Posted December 17, 2013 Go Air Force! . . . where the runway is always right where you left it, two miles long and perfectly flat. 1 Quote
1964-M20E Posted December 17, 2013 Report Posted December 17, 2013 Now I'm ready to make carrier landings. Should be a breeze in a Mooney landing with about 10kts GS. Ship 25kts, wind speed 15kts 40kts airspeed on the deck 50 to 60kts IAS landing. Who needs a stinking hook? Did you notice the AOA in the display and the constant comments regarding AOA? Quote
fantom Posted December 17, 2013 Report Posted December 17, 2013 . . . where the runway is always right where you left it, two miles long and perfectly flat. 10,000 feet most of the time but not often perfectly flat However, after de-brief you can drink and flirt in the O'Club (once called a stag bar) and sleep in your own, non rocking, bed. M016576 Posted December 18, 2013 Report Posted December 18, 2013 Bad acid flashback. Fantom- for the record, we had our own beds... Just so happened you share a room.... 1 Quote
