Blimp in the pattern at kfdk - tower says to the blimp - snoopy two you are cleared for touch and go in the grass at your own risk - Cessna 832 you are cleared to land - report blimp in the pattern slow moving - Cessna I have traffic in sight - mooney 933 you are cleared for immediate departure on 23 no delay attention traffic  on touch and go final in the grass report aircraft in sight - Frederick tower mooney niner tree tree has blimp traffic in sight immediate departure on 23.

The Goodyear blimp @kpmp flies almost every day. It is a very regular sight and VERY hard to miss in the pattern

I'll say the blimps are hard to miss in the pattern.

 

"Mooney niner three three, slow moving aircraft at your 10, o'clock, 2 miles, its a blimp...now 9' o'clock."  "Tower, mooney niner three three is looking."

Reminds me of an old one, that goes something like this:

Pilot: "<BigTown Radar> Balloon XYZ approaching your zone, requesting transit at <whatever> altitude"

ATC: "Roger Balloon XYZ, Squawk <something>"

Pilot: "Sorry, negative transponder, XYZ"

ATC: "Roger XYZ, understand no transponder, for identification, turn left 60 degrees"
