romair
Anyone know? I think it may be the landing gear actuator? The image is shot with the belly panels off, camera towards the front wheel. The part was almost right above the front wheel (above the front belly panel, of course). I noticed a drop of hydraulic fluid at the bottom of that part, and it does look a bit corroded too. Plane going into annual soon, and I am considering replacing/overhauling it depending on what it is. Thanks Stefan '89 M20 J
1964-M20E
It could be your brake master cylinder but it is hard to tell form the photo. Is that your electric fuel pump to the left?
Marauder
And what is that fluid underneath it? It does look like the brake master. Wonder if it is leaking and that is why he is asking.
Steve Dawson
It looks like the right wheel brake master cylinder and it may be the oring's need replacing. The left is on the other side of the auxiliary fuel pump. the fluid colour red? I just had redone mine this annual.
