Ok.....first, My plane doesn't have the yoke vacuume release button....it's got a panel mounted push/pull switch to "engage" the PC system. Problem is when it's engaged.....it starts an insidious very slow roll to the right no matter what I do with the roll knob on the turn coordinator. Any suggestions? Also....when the system is (supposedly) off, and flying straight and level, when I go to turn left it feels like the yoke is blinded or stuck just a tiny bit for a second, then it "breaks loose" and it's normal after that. ME NO LIKEE!!

You have a vac leak on the right side servo plumbing or servo itself. There is one in each wing and 2 in the tail.

Yep. Fly the plane to Don Maxwell at KGGG. He will replace it on the tarmac in front of his hangar. At least that is what he did when I had this problem. It left me forever in awe of his patience and skill.

Just replace the four boots and all the hoses. Not a lot of money for parts, the forward boot in the tail is a pain to change. Replace all the o-rings (rubber bands) too. To seal the boots with electrical tape, get a 10" long piece of 1/8" steel rod. wind enough tape around thr rod to go twice around the can. You will be able to maneuver the rod around the can and pull the tape tight. After the tape is on put a tywrap around the tape to keep it from coming off.

There is a connection where the hoses pass through a bulkhead where the pilot side panel meets the side skin. You can unplug them and attach a hand vac pump from autozone. It will take several pumps (30 or more) but it deflect the aileron on that side all the way down. After retaping all my cans it would hold a 5" vac for several minutes without any leakdown. There is also a T fitting in the lower pilot side of the luggage compartment where the lines splits and goes out to the wing and back to the tail. You can also attach the pump there to test the wing and tail seperately.  The tubing should be red and green unless it has been replaced with something else.

You need a small hand to get the wing servos out.

I had the same problem.

The boots or the lines had no leaks! It turned out that one flap was slightly misaligned (half a turn of the outer ball bearing).

With w/l off the plane should fly straight and leveled, btw each plane should do this ...

Find out where or what the aileron stucks. You might share this experience here as well.

Based on cajun's profile pic I would be shocked if "he" does not have access to a pair of small hands ;)
