Nicely done! As usual. You must get lots of comments from the usual "outback" flyers. Do you ever notice any additional wear and tear, or adjustment issues at annual? I would be terrified of breaking something on landing and then the plane being stranded there.

I will continue to live vicariously through you.

I am curious... which prop do you have on your C? Also, have you done anything to increase the engine performance above stock?

I am in awe of that video!

Holy Cow!  What an awsome video.  I've had my Private sense '82 and I get up tight about landing on a paved mile long strip in Ruidoso, NM at 7,000' elv.  Can you give specifics on the camera and mount and where you have it attached?  I didn't see bar down middle of windshield, but it looks like the camera is almost in the center.  Good job.

I have the normal C-model hartzell. It's just been painted black! Also my camera is a Drift HD by drift innovations. See Mypov360.com It's a great camera. I have a mount for under my wing but I just kept it inside because I didn't want to hit it on any brush when landing. It's attached with a suction cup! :)

Stanely!! That runway is awesome, even before getting 1600ft of asphalt! :)

Bryan--

Finally got to watch this video. "Awesome" is far too tame of a word!! [vimeo, youtube, etc., are blocked at work, and this video won't play on my cell phone. ???]

You certainly do get the most use out of your Mooney! While I do fly into grass strips, they are quite tame compared to your many exploits. Your disclaimer on this video, though, is a classy touch! Smile
