Did you check the notams for ADS-B outages? I see several NOTAMS about intermittent outages… May need to see if your area had them also…

Oh that’s a good idea. Does the G1000 manual give information about the error message? If you know for sure that it’s a reception issue (or that it’s a connectivity issue), you could certainly narrow things down.

Agree...do a FAA performance report and see what that pulls up.  According to Garmin, the most common cause of intermittent ADS-b failure is terrain and antenna masking.

Check your maintenance manual for troubleshooting information.  But if you can't find info, this info may be somewhat applicable...from GTX transponder manual.  For the intermittent issue they point to antenna, coax, ground plane.  Big question is if you've changed anything recently and where is your antenna?  Any chance of damage?

This appears to be a message indicating that your ADS-B in device is no longer communicating with the G1000.

Thanks. That sounds right. Shot in the dark here: Does the 345-R talk to the G1000 via Bluetooth? I had a tablet and phone with me. I have recently been trying to pair both of them with the 345-R (so I could see traffic/weather on my Electronic Flight Bag). Could they have been trying to auto-pair with the 345-R and messing up it's connection with the G1000?

I don’t believe the G1000 had Bluetooth. But even if it did, I would expect a hardwire connection since this is a factory installation. Bluetooth connections to the 345R can be problematic because the bulkhead in the rear of the baggage compartment shields the signal.
