G1000 Update Question

I just updated my G1000 via Jepp.

However the G1000 continues to say that the chart data is out of date.  I downloaded chart data again with no luck.

What am I missing?

Do you have the Chart View Enablement Unlock option (part #010-00330-53) on your G1000 which allows Jepp Charts (list price $2912)? If not you'll have to use Garmin charts.

Unlikely but it is showing me charts even though it says I’m out of date…..

Is it showing Jepps charts or Garmin charts?

All G1000 airplanes came with Garmin charts, so it will show charts, however Jepp is an optional add-on for which you need an enablement card (roughly $3000 option).

Showing Garmin charts….but why does it say they are out of date?

You tried updating them via Jepp, you need to buy Garmin charts (flyGarmin.com)
