Hey guys, my best buddy, Jose, bought a M20K about a year ago, the same time I bought my M20J. This is a 10 minute video he sent me flying today with his granddaughter Leila. 10 minutes is a long time to ask you to sit through a video of somebody you don’t know but with all the crap going on in the world today I found this extremely uplifting. Especially, her dialogue with the air traffic controller at the end of the video. Try to stick it out for 10 minutes and I hope you enjoy it.

What a great experience for both of them!  The alertness in her eyes are like sponges soaking up every nuance of the flight.  We should all be like children each time we say “clear prop!”  Thanks for sharing!

Great video.  Especially for a grandfather with 4 granddaughters.  A heartwarming connection between the 2.  I have a 17 yo grandson who is rooting for me getting my 3rd class medical so I can start flying again.  I’d consider buying a pipistrel alpha to play with and maybe get my grandson his license.  The alpha I could fly from my house.

Did this when my grand son was just months old and then had him fly with me as he got older. He is now a graduate of UND bachilors programe and instucting. Commericial heliocopter with double II as well as being checked out in my M20E. Start them young and create the interest. I am so blessed tat happpened. DD
