Doesn’t look like a big deal.  All it really means is that if you replace your battery, you need to ensure the software is updated to the latest version.

If your battery passes its test, then you don’t have do anything.

I have 2 recent G5’s (Feb install and July). Figured I’d double check mine. Not sure which ones I have but figured it’s worth doing…

You can definitely see what kind you have, but that “advisory” just says theres a new battery pack version available.  Nothing wrong with the old ones.  Nothing to check.

There has been a lot of discussion on Beechtalk about some G5 batteries losing charge about 3% per day and Garmin about to release a fix. Perhaps this is it.
