tls pilot Posted October 14, 2021 Report Posted October 14, 2021 We were reading the manual and saw this (see attached and circled area in red) Has anyone attempted to adjust the voltage regulator? anyone have a pic of this adjustment hole? The voltage regulator in the Bravo is on co pilot side about where the copilot left knee cap would be they have “two sides” and you can interchange one to the other, I recall Bill Wheat explaining it to me The manual says 28.8 volts ideal or less, max of 30. temperature will vary that number any thoughts Quote
carusoam Posted October 15, 2021 Report Posted October 15, 2021 Let’s see if @M20Doc is around… (M20M voltage regulator adjustment hole question) Best regards, -a- Quote
Guest Posted October 15, 2021 Report Posted October 15, 2021 The hole is usually sealed with a small plug/cap or a piece of foil tape. Open this and adjust with a small jewellers screwdriver. Clarence Quote

Clarence I have an extra M20M voltage regulator for sale in the Classifieds (EDIT : SOLD) that I had kept as a spare but never needed, but I don't see a hole on any of the sides or top or bottom. Must have to adjust it inside. Quote
Rick Junkin Posted December 31, 2021 Report Posted December 31, 2021 The voltage regulator in my M20M serial number #27-0019 is part number 800397-503 and is actually two regulators attached to a single mounting plate. As I recall I had to remove the individual units from the mounting plate to find the adjustment screws. Note that this particular regulator is not the one for my serial number range as called out in the parts manual. It works, and I'm not asking any more questions as the "correct" part is unobtainium. Cheers, Rick Quote
