I agree 100% on that wall of shame !!!!

The real point I’m trying to make here is this C is NOT representative of the TRUE market !

How many of these bids are legitimate?

Did this airplane actually sell for the posted price ?

Hopefuly some newbie isn’t the buyer and has just begun the painful process of returning to reality.....

Ive been looking closely at the market for a while....

This is purely people that don't know what they are buying.

Hopefully somebody notices this and stops bidding !

Why do you care so much about a plane you have zero interest in buying.

This sale brings hope I won't eat my lunch if I sell my plane. Similarly equipped but currently flying and in better shape.

I am Just trying to Look Out for people (Newbies) mainly that don’t know any better that’s all.

Why question my motives?.....I hope I helped somebody raising the red flag:)

And I’m a bit tired of watching people get hosed on buying their 1st airplane.

Hope yours is worth double what you paid:):)

You're preaching to the choir. A vast majority of people on here are the farthest sense from the term "newbie". Coming from management of another Mooney-centric message board, I don't fare well with people quarreling over sales price of a plane they aren't shopping for.

Considering I paid $16,500 for mine, if it sold for $33k I'd be beyond chuffed.

Sorry,  it sounds like you are the one with the problem here !

I am used to doing the right thing and getting heat....par for the course !

Nobody is forcing you to read anything on this forum.

I guess free speech doesn’t apply on Mooneyspace ????

On the topic of free speech, just because something can be said does not mean it should be said. Mooneyspace is more than just an online forum, it is a community.

Agree 100 % !!!!

A few years ago I refused to shut my mouth about some safety concerns at the airport where I worked.

After being harassed for months I relocated my business.

Six weeks later the party in Question died as a results of his injuries in Guess What ? An airplane !

Did I do the right thing ? Did anybody call and pat me on the back ? Nope....

Is a good community filled with people afraid to speak?

Ask yourself how is this community  presenting itself too me....

Please do not take this post as being anything negative.

Hopefully   when this aircraft shows up again at 65amu everyone will have a heads up as to where this  book started.

I sincerely wish to Help....that is all:)

Stuart,

Keep in mind…

1) Not everyone is going to understand you…

2) It’s quite possible, you may misunderstand somebody else here…

3) MS is a very diverse group of people…

4) Sometimes it can be disappointing when you do the right thing and somebody else makes a mistake…

5) Doing the right thing, the wrong way… can get messy.

Every hangar queen, ramp rat, project plane… and pile of parts seems to be coming forwards…

Think up a friendly way to let a newbie know this less than usual circumstance that the newest of new normals has presented…

If skilled… throw in some humor….  :)

Hang out… see how many MSers you can get to know…

Keep track of your score…  How many people you welcome into the community… vs how many you accidentally turn away…

We can’t afford to lose any…

Or have them turn a blind ear to what you have to say… when you have something that will keep them from falling out of the sky… there is that convenient ignore User button…

Keep MS interesting… because that newbie you are trying to reach… has to hear you. :)

Communities are made up of real people… they are not going to all respond the same way as you may expect…

Best regards,

-a-
