I'm sure the pilot would have preferred to land on the beach vs. Ditching in the Salt water, but too many human obstacles to avoid. The pilot did a great job of ditching the plane near the shore. Will be interesting to learn the nature of the "mechanical" problem he encountered, since it sounded like the engine was running as it flew past the camera. 1
