MooneyMitch Posted October 27, 2011 Report Posted October 27, 2011 I now have a much better understanding of George and all his postings now that I've seen him in the latest photograph. Quote

MooneyMitch Posted October 28, 2011 Author Report Posted October 28, 2011 How would you like that guy coming up behind you at Mach 1 or better? Go George!!!! Quote
FlyDave Posted October 28, 2011 Report Posted October 28, 2011 Quote: GeorgePerry picture removed. Some didn't appreciate my halloween humor. Sorry if anyone out there felt like their tax dollars weren't being spent wisely. Luckily things are "routine" right now so we occaisonally have some slow moments over head the ship in holding. It took less than 5 seconds to take the photo and then it was back to business as usual. It was my way of keeping in touch with my kids and an attempt to be part of their lives even though they are home alone with their mother, while I'm out at sea. After years away from friends and family while on deployement after deployment, being shot at more times that i want to remember and enduring a tour on the ground in Iraq helping the Army, a guy has to keep a sense of humor. Sorry if I offended anyone, that was not my intent. Quote

KSMooniac Posted October 28, 2011 Report Posted October 28, 2011 I got a great chuckle from the photo and completely understand the sacrifice! I'm happy you were able to lighten things up if only for a minute in order to share with your family. I hope the rest of your cruise goes smoothly and quickly so you can return to them soon! Thanks again from a grateful citizen for being out there! Quote
fantom Posted October 28, 2011 Report Posted October 28, 2011 Great photo, George. Enjoy Halloween in spite of several spoil sports, and get home soon, brother! Quote
flight2000 Posted October 28, 2011 Report Posted October 28, 2011 That was mild compared to what the ground pounders like to do to keep themselves occupied while stationed on isolated mountains in the middle of nowhere... Loved it George!! Glad to see some commanders still have a sense of humor out there. Brian Quote
Immelman Posted October 28, 2011 Report Posted October 28, 2011 George, Count me as another guy who appreciated your photo, and allow me to thank you (with envy) for your service. Quote
MooneyMitch Posted October 28, 2011 Author Report Posted October 28, 2011 George. Possibly you misunderstood the post about our tax dollars. I suspect it was in jest really. I love it! Thank you for your service to our country and your countless helpful and informative posts on MooneySpace. Got another mask?? Ha. Quote
Seth Posted November 1, 2011 Report Posted November 1, 2011 I would have loved to see that pic! Hope everyone had a safe Halloween. Quote
