Hmmmm...

Was that the Mooney-Mizer product of years past? 
 

I think he had a method of adding a trim tab to the elevator and powered it...

Otherwise, investing in a new auto pilot may come with that skill...

Possibly buying an old BK auto pilot may be a good way to make that happen as well...

There are a few KAP and KFC APs coming to market...

I think all I am needing is the small sprocket that is welded on the trim shaft.  The rest is magic.  I am sure a J model would fit.  MY F is almost a J minus the cowling.:mellow:

did you see the posting below from Dan Nephin.   You may want to ask if the one he shows in his photos is 12 V.

Even better. I was wondering how they controlled the heat. So a simple sprocket with a cross pin design.

So if I go with the gfc500 and want trim to be controlled by the AP then I need all that to make it work because Garmin doesn't include that???

Joe,

The upper & lower sprockets and the chain are included in the GFC500 installation kit for the Mooney as far as I can see?
