October 8th at Spruce Creek, 7FL6, Be There

We had a good turnout at our last event, McCharacters at New Smyrna Beach; 10 Mooneys and 23 people.

This months meeting will be this Saturday at Spruce Creek (7FL6), a rare opportunity at a private airport, Bob Carroll who warns us that our time of arrival is about the same time as returning aircraft gaggles from a regular Saturday morning breakfast flight. He warns us that most guys fly in formation and do a military overhead entry into the pattern so be very careful and and keep a sharp eye out for traffic.

Aircraft parking will be on Cessna Dr. tail in toward the big oak tree park double stacked to allow enough space for all the Mooneys. If you run out of space there, park across Cessna Dr. with wings pointing to the condos leaving enough space for cars to get out of the hangers.

Future Events are all on the second Saturday of the month:

October 8, Spruce Creek, (7FL6.)

November, 12, Punta Gorda (PGD)

December 10, Flagler (XFL)

All events start at 11:30

PLEASE E-mail Dave by Thursday night tp let him know if you're going to try to make it. He can then call the restaurant on Friday with a head count. No one is obligated to come if they can't make it for whatever reason.

Dave's response is totally appropriate. I wouldn't expect him to change things around for just a few of us.

At least now I know I'm not the only Jew in attendance.

I didn't mean for anyone to think I was taking offense, since I didn't, just why I won't be there.  I had to cancel last month at the last minute and I was hoping to make it this month.  And, I already know I won't be able to make the second Saturday next month also.  My schedule is such a PIA.  Oh well.  Sometime I'll make it.
