I wonder abouyt that thing. Namely, what happens when that thing flies off and hits another plane. or if the engine is certified to run with such an imbalance.  Lycoming says anything that slows RPM to be a prop strike, such as snow, water or even grass..

The post was about the "Where is PropPastie?" video, however, there is a test video of the PropPastie departing the aircraft. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HmbF_mr1GHMThe purchase page has all the legal disclaimers and no I would not want to be standing next to the prop when the PropPastie came off.  It does not slow down the prop in any way, and the imbalance is insignificant.  You will not be able to fly with it on, it will depart the aircraft.

Formation practice prior to flight?

 We have a winner.

I will get the name of the group today so I can give them recognition too.  They fly Yaks around and at local shows from N14 in NJ.  The video from my phone was so poor I doubt anyone is recognizable.

The name of the group is "Northeast Raiders Flight Demo Team"  lets give a hand for a great performance.
