hi everyone

I own 67 M20F it recently went down for annual and the flange for the induction tube was damaged, so I contacted Lycoming and they sent me a new pipe which superseded the previous part.

this new tube appears to long. Any tips for installation, modifications, etc

How damaged was the flange?  

Looks pretty easy to fix using some metal working tools, and a mechanic?

aside from that... got a CO monitor for your plane?  In case the new exhaust bits don’t quite seal properly...

What you really want is the parts manual. The service manual tells you how to take it apart and put it back together. The parts manual has all the drawings and part numbers.
