Just got an ASO update and really nice '77 J listed at 84k.  LoPresti Cowl.  Nice updated paint scheme.  Split removable seat conversion and interior redone at Mooney with late Plastic.  Tan Leather seats, GPS Steer.  Wass GPS.  Engine Monitor, leather yokes and about 450 on engine.  Pretty sweet....

Some long range tanks and it would be the "total package"..good looking plane. Really like the cowl.

I noticed it too. Seems to be some decent planes in the 75-100k range currently.

It's still on TAP and Controller today.  Interestingly, a quick FAA search shows that it is registered as experimental.  Why would that be?

Seems like the market is dead. Our k has had 2 inquiries in 2 months.

This has to be the worst time of the year to sell a plane, gotta think spring things will tick up.

I pulled on Controller under Mooney M20J listings...in addidition to cowl and rear eat conversion they also did tail RAM air upgrade a la Byron's J. I really like this J. Would pursue if I was in market...

Thats quite interesting but yes it appears it has that fresh air mod.  and the newer interior as well. 

The only things I don't like is the mena rebuilt engine and mena aircraft paint. Aside from general quality issues, all the aclad skins are ruined when then sand the entire plane with a DA sander and 320 grit sandpaper. It's just criminal.

Looks like a nice deal on paper. Shame about the 52 gals. usable. Bladders cost 12 gals.? And 927# UL in an early J? If it's truly in good shape it's a classic example of upgrade costs grossly exceeding the added value. Shame it hasn't flown more lately.

My M20E went from 52 gallon wet wing to 62 gallon with bladders.  So yes, you can have larger bladders.

If you have a relief tube you can have a smaller one type of bladder and a larger of the other

Not sure if they're still offering the new interiors at the factory or not, but I believe the costs were north of $20k. If that is what this plane has, that just makes it a lot more attractive.

That's insane! However, I really like the aesthetics and and placement of the plugs and switch for the interior light. I wonder if something like this could be custom designed and installed with just a logbook entry.
