Welcome aboard Doug.  That switch is known to wear out after several decades.

Make sure you get the right one for your application.  RLBpush to start and matches the magnetos with the timing retard...

James has probably steered you in the right direction, but now you have some additional things to make sure of...

If you need additional help, an MSC can get the part for you.  Some cost is built into their help.  Call Lazar.  They are very helpful for things like this...
