10 Mooneys on ebay

if you seriously want it gone.  at some level of the prevailing "what a man will give your for it today"   Just don't complete the transaction through ebay or you have to pay a large fee.  Done right Ebay can be free marketing.

I sold lots of my grandfather's coins to pay for avionics on ebay

I bought mine off of e-bay as well.  It had been in a hangar in TX for many years.  I too slipped a digit and was off on my bid by a factor of ten.  Negotiated a pre-buy and Russell Stallings took it more apart than it already was.  Then I had a couple of guys from the Mooney factory look at it, negotiated a price and then paid for it.  Knowingly bought it as a project airplane.  The rest is history after many years.

looks like that one is being sold by wings of hope.  too bad they couldn't raffle that puppy off!

That was my old plane. I did everything you see on there. It was a pig when I got it. Believe me, it's got way more money in it than they're asking for. It's a great plane, and I seriously thought about buying it back. But I moved to an A36 and the wife won't give up the barn doors.

And Wings on Hope is a great organization if anyone is interested in donating their plane.

The turbo F for $42k looks neat!

As soon as I get my 3rd class medical I'll probably go for this one... Two things that bug me about it are the 1650 SMOH and the older avionics.

Reggie - I just went and checked your plane out this past weekend. The plane is beautiful and you did a superb job with it!

Thanks! I loved that plane. I sometimes regret letting her go, but it was time to move to something bigger. I have yet to see a nicer pre-J Mooney  (of course I'm biased).
