Ferry pilot wanted for new Mooney owner.

Looks like I have my plane sold to a gentleman in N. Carolina at KMWK. We will be getting a pre-buy with Don Maxwell on Thursday and if all goes well he will be taking PX back on Friday. Is there anybody on the board, preferable in the Longview, Tx or Charlotte, NC area that would want to fly with the owner? He doesn't have his complex endorsement yet. I'll also check with Don and if all else fails I can fly him back and catch a tube home. Thanks.

There's a MAPA instructor, DPE, and Mooney owner near Charleston SC named Wally Moran.   He was very helpful when I found my plane in Charleston.  He might help you out or at least suggest someone who can.

I'm not local, but am commercial rated with lots of Mooney time and would be willing to ferry alone or fly with the guy.

Don Maxwell can arrange a very qualified pilot, I am sure.  Should be no problem.  Just let him know in advance.

I'd do it and give him his complex along the way, but I'm out of the country until early next month and not very local. I'm sure Don can suggest someone. He can probably knock the complex out there and make the trip solo if he wanted.
