Marauder Posted November 3, 2015 Report Posted November 3, 2015 Ryan, spot on..again. I'm just an innocent old man but with the choice of a spectacular looking person vs. a say less than spectacular I'd choose the one easy on my eyes if all other items were similar i.e. both Do a good job etc. if I want to see a beautiful lovely young lady I can still go home to my bride of 43+ yrs. Well Dan, after being married for 33 years I know what you mean. A good friend of mine told me though that it all changed one day and it led to a divorce. He said he got tired of driving home from work thinking about spending a great evening with his wife: Only to find out this was his reality: Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk 2 Quote

Andy95W Posted November 3, 2015 Report Posted November 3, 2015 I'd choose the one easy on my eyes if all other items were similar i.e. both Do a good job etc. I've been an airline pilot long enough to have flown with all types. I'll admit the young, pretty ones are nice to look at but as I get older I realize I would much rather work with the older, more experienced, and probably less attractive ones. At 50 years old, all I really want from a cabin crew is professionalism and the ability to deal with unhappy passengers so that I don't have to get involved. A cute 24 year old flight attendant who tells a passenger to stow his bags and turn off his phone doesn't get the same results as the middle aged woman who's raised three teenage boys. But the biggest key to me having a good day at work is NO DRAMA from the cabin. Good luck getting that from the pretty (but ditzy) 24 year old. Sorry to contribute to thread creep. I'm putting away the soapbox now. 3 Quote
