carusoam Posted September 23, 2015 Report Posted September 23, 2015 (edited) Is it available in polished aluminum color? the purpose of the winglet is to abolish the end effects that occur on the ordinary wing. a proper winglet design would allow the Mooney wing to be shortened while maintaining the same lift qualities. a shorter wing would improve taxi issues encountered in tight spaces typical of New England winters and departure issues in Central Jersey this week? the question for the aerodynamists...how much of the end of the wing is effected?
