Robert C. Posted August 8, 2014 Report Posted August 8, 2014 For the past year you have been kind enough to put up with newbie questions and ignorant comments. I'm afraid that isn't going to end soon as I today I joined the ranks of Mooney owners, so expect more! Hopefully someday I know enough to pay it forward myself, in the meantime: Thank you. A special thanks to Greg Sengle who last year gave me the ride in his Ovation that convinced me it was the airplane for me. More recently Russ (Txbyker) and Tom Brickey corresponded with me on buying and storing the bird. Thanks guys I start transition training and an accelerated IFR course in 2 weeks time when I collect N446PC (2007 Standing Ovation GX) from KRYY where it is currently getting an annual (after the pre-buy) from DLK Aviation. Mooneymite Posted August 8, 2014 Report Posted August 8, 2014 Yay!!! Another addict, er, I mean Mooney owner. Congratulations. Keep us posted on your "indoctrination". Quote
jlunseth Posted August 8, 2014 Report Posted August 8, 2014 Great airplane. Glad you are getting transition training. If you are used to C's and P's and even B's, it takes a little to acclimate to the speed of your new Mooney. Not much, but a little time to get used to it. Once you do it will be an every day thing. Hank Posted August 9, 2014 Report Posted August 9, 2014 Welcome to the Mooney Family. Join MAPA, have fun, and hope to meet you one day. Join MAPA and go to a PPP. They are held several times each year, around the country. Next one is in September in Roanoke, VA. Well worth it as a new Mooney pilot. 1 Quote
