I want to start building replacement panel for my '62 C model in order to arrange the dials where I want them and to make better use of the limited space. Quite some time back I saw a thread where someone had a CAD drawing of the panel(s), but the thread was fairly old. I messaged the person and didn't hear back.

Does anyone have or know of an accurate drawing around? It'd sure be nice to have something already cut before disassembling my existing panel.

Thanks!

I have a CAD drawing of the main section of my new panel. It's a '66E, I suppose it would be close to your '62C. The smaller panel section on the right that has only CBs, I do not have. Let me know if this would be of use. I use DesignCad but I should be able to convert to something you can open.

There is a PC application called Xpanel that allows you to lay your panel out. They even have Mooney templates to start your design. Pretty cool.

That does sound pretty cool - I'll look into it. Right now I'm looking for the pattern for the overall panel with mount holes and such.I'm hoping to get something that I can send to a laser/water jet cutter for the overall panel, and then I'll cut the dial holes on my mill.

I have a drawing of the left side panel for a 66E. I worked it up to make a new front face panel but the mount hole locations should be pretty close. I don't know if a 62 used the same mount setup. Give me your email address and I'll be happy to send it to you - let me know what format you'd like as well (dwg, dxf, etc.)

I have a CAD drawing for several updated panels, and also have some panels which I cut but did not use.  Look in my gallery for the end result.  One earlier version used steam gauges.  E-mail if you can use any of this stuff.  My e-mail is johnabreda@yahoo.com

Here is what I have for the right side for a 64E. Change TXT to DXF and import into a CAD program this should work.

This should be close.  I never used it for the plane but I printed it 1:1 PANEL.txtand test fitted it on paper.

Do you have one for the left side as well?
