Need M20K gear doors in good shape, repairable shape, or damaged for hardware and patterns to fabricate new. Bought a Rocket and it was missing the inner doors. I am told it may be 10 knots faster with the inner doors. Does anyone know if this is correct?

Thanks,

Swaid

I hesitate to even sell them at any price, because I'll probably need them some day.

2 grand. I paid $1450. I know it's a lot, but they really aren't for sale.

Jim

As crazy as it sounds, that's an excellent price!

BUT, I was hoping we could use them as a template for producing new fiberglass replacement doors....on the QT of course.

.....Sound reasonable?

EDIT:.....hold on to what I've got for the time being. .

.

VERY reasonable...on both issues, Jim.

I have a set of slightly bent doors off my E that I will sell for significantly less than any of the numbers posted so far.

Of course, the question is whether or not they are the same as go on a K.

Swaid & Troy,

I have a 252 and it has outer, middle and inner gear doors.  The inner doors attach to the wing near the fuselage.   The middle are what you are calling the inner gear doors and are fixed to the gear leg.  I did the Encore upgrade and that required replacing the middle doors and reworking the inner gear doors.

S0 I have a set of 'middle' gear doors for you, see below.
