I went to Fredrick MD (KFDK) via Peoria for a weather seminar a couple of weeks ago. 275 kts. in cruise for most of the trip from KPIA to KFDK (FL210), TAS was 165. When I got out near the east coast the winds moderated a little.

KSMooniac Posted October 11, 2012 Report Posted October 11, 2012 I had flights on Friday and Tuesday with sustained ground speeds of 180-190 knots for hours while burning 8.5 GPH in the 9000-11000' range. That was great.... until I headed back home anyway.
