Guest Posted January 26, 2024 Report Posted January 26, 2024 I couldn’t find a good schematic, so I just tested it by pressing it with my finger and observing the indications in the cockpit. Looks like it works. Quote

Looks like it works. It's a double-pole, double-throw switch. One pole controls the gear lights and the other the motor. So, you still need to test the other pole that controls the motor. You could do this by raising the gear and then holding the down switch closed while someone puts the gear handle in the down position (you'll have to override the squat switch or airspeed safety switch) and then operating the switch to verify that it can start and stop the motor. Guest Posted January 27, 2024 Report Posted January 27, 2024 Thanks for the point. I didn’t know that, but I did that anyways. Luckily it wasn’t the switch and we just rerigged the gear. Now just have to check the preload and hopefully we’re good to go. Quote

That particular page is not great but still readable. Quote
Guest Posted January 27, 2024 Report Posted January 27, 2024 Thanks. Great info. I didn’t know about there was a volume 2. That’s why I couldn’t find it. Quote
