Apologies for not foreseeing the future when I posted this two months ago.  Sheesh, tough crowd!  But you're right, that's far more transparent than anything Mooney has done since the takeover.  A sudden flurry of hype and big promises, a new and typo-ridden website with amateur-written copy, a forum no one uses, a "Mooney of the Month" feature that was awarded once and never spoken of again, and that's about it.  The carbon cowl and gross weight increase STCs must be coming any minute, but we've heard nothing more about them for years now.

You forgot to add about the current owners shopping the company around in late 2021 in what appeared to be a desperate attempt to flip it and get out. - only to have it show up on the "Craigs List" of Business Brokerage sites "Bizquest.com" with a cheesy "Legendary Aircraft Manufacturer" ad and a $15 million asking price tag.

Ah yes, how could I forget that brilliant business gambit... which worked perfectly, obviously.

As I understand it, the vendor changed the process without telling Van's.

It will be interesting to see all the emails and phone calls and notifications that vans got from owners of kits when they realize that these laser drill holes were cracking when dimpling, and also the quick build kits from the Philippines, which had the corrosive wash primer. I’m sure there were several upset emails and correspondence to the company which they similarly ignored, and dismissed, and now they’re going to answer for that.
