Does anyone have a Lynx feeding adsb traffic and weather to a 650xi? My old 430 displayed weather and traffic from the Lynx but the 650xi does not. Just trying to figure out if it should or not. I am talking about a wired serial connection and not via WiFi.

but no weather.

True, unless he has a GDL69 or 69A…in which he’d have XM Wx on his 650xi; however, you’re correct in that the 650Xi wouldn’t display the ADS/B weather from the Lynx.  I had this same setup on my former Ovation.  In this configuration, it was kinda nice to have 2 different types of Wx.

@StevenL757 @jetdriven - Do either of you know, if I were to add a GDL-5x, Will the 650 connect to both the GDL and my iPad (Garmin Pilot) simultaneously? Would the 650 send the traffic/weather it gets from the GDL back to the ipad over Connext?

Yes, I have asked Garmin the same question but would rather hear from this community.

I don't know about the GDL, but when I picked up my plane it had a 650 and a GTX-345.  650 and iPad (and Aspen) got traffic and weather from the -345.

Yes a 345 will definitely work. The Lynx has really grown on me so I'm in no rush to dump it. Garmin responded to me, I had forgotten that the portable GDL's are not a certified source for ADSB.

I have weather/traffic on the 2 aspens, the lynx and a yoke mounted iPad. I guess that's enough
