I contacted Don Maxwell, but he is not able to fit me in for well over a month. Does anyone have any other suggestions in that area? Thank you.

Is it already being maintained by Lubbock Aero? If not, they are a Mooney Service Center and should be able to handle a pre-buy. My only experience has been great service over the years at the FBO and an oil change once. 1

Mcstealth Posted August 10, 2023 Report Posted August 10, 2023 For a fee, and he is not what I call "cheap", Brian Kendrick will fly his Mooney to the plane in question and do a full inspection. He probably has a wait time but I would trust his inspection. 1

Utah20Gflyer Posted August 10, 2023 Report Posted August 10, 2023 My last annual I scheduled a year out and still had to wait two or three weeks to get my plane into the shop after my annual expired. A month is not a long time right now when it comes to aircraft maintenance.

Nice thing about Texas is that there are many good choices, and they are all fairly close in terms of Mooney Minutes.
