Got this from a local shop, but ended up installing a 430W instead when my existing COM#1 died.  I did power it up when installing my G5s, but didn't get a photo --  can grab photos of the antenna, a GA35, and unit powered up upon request.  Price is shipped to the lower 48.   Willing to entertain reasonable offers.

I thought the 400w does com as well. I thought the difference re a 430w is that the 430w also does nav radio.  Am I wrong?

I thinks so, that you are wrong.  I think the 420 is GPS com.

I thought I was wrong once, but I was mistaken.

Also, just look at the face of the unit (and compare to easily Googled photos of a GNS-430W).  The lack of a left-side knob to tune frequencies, no VOL/SQ knobs, and no flip-flop buttons are a dead giveaway.
