Just passed my IR checkride!

On my checkride, which included an ILS, VOR, and GPS approach all to the same field, I was asked to fly the VOR approach without the use of my Aspen, including a trip around the hold. Using my Aera, 430, and iPad, it was really a non-event, even without a VSI.  My examiner, like some others have mentioned, was fully in favor of the technology, and even asked me a thing or two about using Foreflight, and the iPad in general.

I'm happy, and relieved, to report that as of yesterday I am now instrument rated.

I completed my written last fall and am only now ready to work on hours required and preparing for checkride. For those of you who just finished the IR what program, book, study process did you use?

I have only had the requisite weekend course to pass the written. Now I need to start real studying for thr fundamentals and understanding.
