I’m not going to look for it but I’m certain that any wire connected directly to the battery requires a fuse within ( I believe) 1 ft of the battery. I don’t think it’s 43.13 but one of the Certification regs, I’m certain because I’ve seen and read it before. I’m sure connecting to the solenoid is considered direct connection to the battery, but it’s just a fuse guys and it makes sense to keep you from burning too.

Funny how aircraft wiring is required, but I’ve always seen the same old cheap plastic inline fuse holder

The $69 kit that carusoam is showing is the kit for certified planes. It contains the fuse holder and fuse as you described.

There is even a plug for the long body cigarette lighter socket… if you want to directly connect to the 28V socket…. For battery #1.

This would be so nice!! Master switch needs to be on to use this accessory apparently. Not a good option for long body with G1000. Am I correct?
