I looked through prices and shipping when I did it 6 months ago and ended up with a complete set of kelly harness but just used one side.  That was cheaper than buying just the left mag side of some other brands.

Guys,

I think I'm going with Surefly.  Today we set to do the 500hr IRAN on the left mag...  And the bearing is shot.  It's grinding and wiggling...

Could you help me pinpoint the exact part number for the harness leads that will go into my IO360-A1A?  I use UREM38E plugs, which are 5/8".  I called Surefly and they said to search Slick style harness – Shielded aviation harness on Spruce website, but what I get is labeled for O-360A1A, not IO360-A1A.  If the engines are pretty much the same, I'd assume they would have labeled it (I)O360... on the Spruce site, so I wanted to ask.

I’d definitely call new horizons and get a “Maggie” harness.  They are good quality, and they will make just one side if you want to keep the other.  I’ve used them twice and they are good.

Youll want to tell them Slick like you said, and I also confirm which plugs the leads are going to since there’s apparently 2 different setups possible on an A1A.  I have the alternate setup and they understood perfectly.

There have been a few discussions around here… @HoJo87 is our Maggie guy….

Many good pireps…

Since people were buying a new harness…. Actually half of a harness… 

The Maggie got good remarks for price and quality…
