DoctorJ Posted April 17, 2011 Report Posted April 17, 2011 My 1979 201 only has the annunciator light for vac problems. During a recent trip, the light started flashing, but instruments all worked fine during the 3.5 hour trip. It made no difference if I used the alternate vac source - instruments still fine, but light remained on. I am planning to test the system with a vac gauge, but want to know if there is a sensor/swithch in the system that might be acting up. If so, where might I find it, and how do I test it? Thanks for all replies! Quote
cunnira Posted April 25, 2011 Report Posted April 25, 2011 On my 81 there is a vacuum switch on the back of the attitude indicator that operates the hi low vacuun light on the pannel. Quote
Magnum Posted April 25, 2011 Report Posted April 25, 2011 The switch is adjustable, but it is no fun to do that. One adjustment screw on the backside, and one in the fitting. Quote
