I use Garmin Pilot on an Ipad and Iphone and really like it.  I was about to buy the GDL 39-3D antenna and thought I would ask anyone that has one how they like it?  Is it worth the $900?  Is something new and improved about to come out?  Is the price coming down?  Any thoughts?  Thanks

I have had a non-3D version for several years.  It has worked well.  Definitely glad I purchased.  The unit will "soldier on" with a OUT ADSB compliant Garmin Transponder w/Waas.

I love mine, but with the new transponders hitting the market you will probably find some good deals on ebay vs buying new.
