Cabin space in 231/252

Hi, I was wondering if anyone had come up with a good way to get more elbow room in the M20K. I thought I saw an ad once for a low profile door panel or something similar but I can't seem to find it.

The later Mooneys have more scalloped side panels.... not sure if they are available for retrofit, I think I recall someone on here having a shop that made em work... try searching?

It doesn't add that much I don't think.

One thing you might do is look at Bruce Jaeger's Spatial Interiors (http://www.jaegeraviation.com/sinteriors) as they were created to do exactly what you are asking for. I know they fit a J model and back, and I would think the K would be included if the J is.

I just got bruce jaegers interiors system and I can vouch for it very highly - and it does give some more elbow room indeed!

There is one MSer that put the guts of an Ovation in a nicely refreshed F... Doc John(?)

The challenge with that, first find a Donor Ovation. Then adjust the length of the pieces...

Bruce Jaeger is the way to go.
