I could swear I saw a write up around here where someone did it step by step, it looked like a hassle but manageable. I'll see if I can find it.

I'm based at KIMM, Immokalee, Fl, Naples area.

Any chance she will make the Summit in Sept/Oct? I may be a bit biased, but Mooney restoration projects are cool as hell and I could look/talk about them 10x longer than the newest Acclaim.

There a tank reseal specialist in Fort Lauderdale:

If you visit him and are candid about what you're doing with your project I suspect he'd give you some advice that would save you a lot of inventing the wheel. He might convince you to let him do it.

Hank has nothing but good things to say about his experience with them.

They have a full page ad in the MAPA LOG. "Over 1025 Mooney fuel tanks reseals since 1993..."

I think I paid in the neighborhood of $5k with two A&Ps and myself doing the work.

I'll end up doing it alone, it's amazing how my brother is busy when the nasty jobs pop up.

Don't let him fool you. He loves Mooneys. He just strays from time to time.
