Merry Christmas to all our Mooney Family. Wherever you fly and whatever you fly, be safe and have fun.  It is going to be fun to fly Maggie with her new "jugs". HA  I just love saying that. Happy New Year too.

No flying for me till I get back to Canada.  In Bangladesh on UN duty till the end of January.  Isn't Skype a wonderful thing?

Happy flying all of you.  Keep safe.  Have a Merry Christmas and a prosperous New Year.

Just got back from the in-laws. Flew to MS on Friday, and made the return trip home this afternoon. Thank goodness temps were warm enough at 7000' that icing wasn't an issue.

Flying to Nemacolin Woodlands for New Year's weekend!

Great fly in resort!

My cousin was married there back in 04. We flew in and had a blast.  There is so much to do, that it would take many trips to fully experience the resort in total.

Merry Christms, Happy Hanukkah, Seasons Greetings and Happy New Year to all.

Parker is returning to FL in one of those big round tubes, not a 172 or 252 Encore conversion :-(

Leave tomarrow for Kitty Hawk then down to Sarasota -Bradenton for a day with a long lost cousin and New Years Eve with the grand kids. I'll be flying back on New Years day. Say hi if you are in the skies. And Happy New Years to all my friends on Mooneyspace and best wishes for 2012. Fly safe

We are headed to the Rose Bowl in Pasadena, CA.  We have two extra tickets.  Weather is supposed to be nearly 80 degrees.   If you are thinking about going and need great seats, send me a PM.

I had an uneventful Mooney round trip to McKinney and back.... just the way I like it!  Trip down last Friday involved an IFR let-down thru a thin overcast to my destination (uncontrolled field with no approaches).  Fortunately, (a) there was no ice, and (B) the minimum vectoring altitude was just below the OVC enough for me to visually find the airport and descend to pattern altitude.  Coming back yesterday was just gorgeous with clear skies and fairly warm temps, and even a bit of a tailwind.

No more flying for me until mid-January after a ski trip and then it will be IPC and BFR time.
