xcrmckenna Posted October 3, 2016 Author Report Posted October 3, 2016 I bet that Gal really floats! Would she qualify as a flotation device for flights over water?Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Quote
xcrmckenna Posted October 5, 2016 Author Report Posted October 5, 2016 So I'm slowly getting back to looking at planes this week. I've emailed a few owners and this plane caught my eye. Does anyone know this plane? The panel looks like it has a lot of wear but hard to see from one picture. I've asked for pictures of the logs and what the ul and weight and balance is. http://www.trade-a-plane.com/search?category_level1=Single+Engine+Piston&make=MOONEY&model=M20J+201&listing_id=2203972&s-type=aircraft Quote

You might want to find out what happened and whether the engine has been inspected. Quote
xcrmckenna Posted October 5, 2016 Author Report Posted October 5, 2016 I believe they are Q-tip props that are made to be quieter and come from the factory like that. Not from a gear up:) but I'm not 100% sure. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Quote

carusoam Posted October 6, 2016 Report Posted October 6, 2016 Verify the G530 is not WAAS. You would want to know if the path to WAAS is still viable and what the costs will be. Or check with avidyne for full replacement costs... Good luck with the data acquisition. (Photos and logs) Best regards, -a- Quote
