I'm finally picking up the keys to my "new" '65 M20E tomorrow :DB):P. I'll post pictures as soon as possible. N79399, 3700 TT, 75 SMOH, with a newer instrument panel, older radios, including KNS80 and STEC30. Does anybody know or can recommend a good Mooney instructor in Oregon?

Congratulations!!

Fly the numbers in the pattern.  Every landing be ready for a go around - landing is unexpected when it occurs.  Meaning if it doesn't look/feel right, too fast, etc . . . Go around and set up a better patten for a good landing.

I'm pretty sure MooneyGirl (Jolie Lucas) has a favorite Mooney Instructor in Oregon.

Did it come from Corvallis?

Hi Geoffb,

Yes, that's the one. Are you familiar with it?

I'm at CVO, seen it in the Corvallis Aero hanger.

I'm down in EUG. Do you use Corvallis Aero for annuals etc?
