Hey Guys,

Just wanted to inform anyone out in the southwest I have decided to rent out my 1985 M20k 231 Rocket to a management company out of KHND named Monarch Sky. If anyone is interested you can call Monarch Sky at (702) 631-0386. I absolutley love the rocket conversion and love being able to share such a unique category of an airplane with the guys that are tired of flying those slow cessna's! hahahaha.

Hope you enjoy her as much as I do!

Thanks for the opportunity to rent such an awesome aircraft. Last month I saw monarch added the aircraft to their fleet. I'm in the process of looking for a 201 or 231 to purchase. Was looking at renting the plane, but due to the rental cost I decided to put the money into the purchase instead. However, I might have to go for a ride cause cause that thing must scream!!!

Thanks but just out of curioustiy why do you think the rental cost is high? what price were you quoted?

Keep in mind it is twice as fast as any other rental and burns 19.8 gals in cruise with 104 gallons.

A perfect example of the cost being the same as a cessna is:

Cessna from KHND to KSDL cost roughly $650 round trip based on the gold tier at monarch and will take you 4hours round trip.

The rocket will do the same flight and cost you $600 round trip and will get you to and from in 2 to 2.2 hours.

Per hour it is more expensive but per flight your saving money.

Not your typical renter. What are the min times needed to rent and checkout requirements.

Preferr IFR pilots and need to be checked out by Monarch Sky.

I'm in Vegas now where it's a pretty crappy flying day.

Yes it was. I flew to KSEE (san diego) and got caught in the weather on the way home. Luckily with the 796 I installed I was able to find a break in the weather to cut east back home to vegas.
