Memorial Day Get togather at KUKT (Quakertown, PA)

The summer is almost here and Pankey and I are ready to fire up the grill. We decided to do our first airport cook out of the year on Saturday May 23 (Memorial day weekend). anyone who wants to come over and hang out for the day we will be firing up the grill around noon. ! all are welcome and if you would like bring family and friends, If you are bringing a large group please RSVP so we can ensure we have enough food. there is currently no defined food but as usual there will be hot dogs and hamburgers, we also encourage you to bring your faviote dish or side but no one will be turned away. if there is an interest in makeing a weekend of this, we have room to set up tents and a bathroom that will be avalible, there are also hotels 1 mile down the road. sunday mornings the Quakertown pilots meet around 8 am and fly out to breakfast, the location is usaly decied apon around 8:15 with a take off about 8:30.... aall times are fluid :) .

Looking forward to seeing everyone.

I personally am looking forward to the thunderstorms to try out my new Stormscope!

After last year's get together, I thought I killed Alan. Two minutes after he launched for home, a huge thunderstorm came through.

Just took a look at the forecast for Memorial day weekend and it looks like it will be nice! cant wait to see all of you who make it out.

Brian - I'm going to try to get up there again this weekend. Might be another plane less day. I thought my annual would have been done, but he ran into some calibration issues with the JPI 900 and one of the fuel senders.

If my plane is not ready and any of the local Mooney guys are headed past N57 and would be willing to stop by to pick me up, let me know. I promise I won't bring any of the girls with me.

Jack said he is coming over for this, I'm just not sure if he will be driving up from that area with jules or if he will fly over to pick her up.

Hello All -- just closed on N5815X today. It's a 1986 M20J. Will be picking it up tomorrow and bring it back to VA Friday. Plan on coming out to this Saturday as I need some training time anyway for insurance. Looking forward to meeting some of you guys!

If your good we may even let you park it up with all the rest of the aircraft instead of all the way at the FBO!

Speaking of, where on the field are you? I was too busy drooling in Bob's Lancair IV-P to notice where we taxied to. A, B or C?

Hoping the stars line up for me to fly my F model up. (90% go) Update fri eve.
