Any suggestions for a mechanic/shop in the San Antonio area for my '75 M20F?

Dugosh in Kerrville.

The three of us hangered in a row at San Marcos, where there is a MSC on the field take our planes to Dugosh in Kerrville.  This is not to say anything bad about the MSC in San Marcos but rather how we feel about Dugosh.  Ronnie Kramer and his crew are top notch IMHO.

Dugosh.  There's 3 full time guys, Ronnie the owner & Bill Wheat.  Bill has worked at the factory in nearly every department for over 50 years (52 years I believe this year) and Ronnie started in the military before finding his way to Dugosh and buying it from the guy that founded it.  What's crazy is that the other 3 guys alone could each have their own shop and be some of the more experienced mechanics out there, but there 'measly' 25+ years sounds silly when you're talking about 50.

I do think that the Mooney factory service center does excellent work as well.  They have a couple guys with many years experience and are more often going to replace parts with new.  If you're someone that likes new parts every time, perhaps that would work out better.  Or you can just tell Ronnie you like new parts and he can get them from his stockroom.
